Cheesy Dreams

Challenge: To write and illustrate a story about cheesy ambitions.

Solution: Take a mouse’s love of cheese over the top.

Description: The main character was made to be bigger than all the other mice on purpose to show her bigger ambitions. To offset the bright yellow, a cool purple-blue was used to balance the layout The final art was done in digital watercolor. The Style of the final render evolved with the development of the story. Originally only the cheese was going to have color, but was later decided to bring in additional color to fill in the sky.
