About

Like a good campfire, Ricxter believes that creativity flourishes when everyone gathers around it. He enjoys sharing a creative space in the arts to improve his craft and share it with the world.

From a young age, Ricxter fell in love with art and has honed his creative skills to share his quirky ideas. An upbringing in Los Angeles has gifted him the opportunity to experience a variety of cultures and perspectives. His style stems from this combination of influences and the love of simplifying complex ideas into surreal visuals with limited color palettes. He’s grateful to be surrounded by a supportive art community that has challenged him to continue to test the bounds of his creativity.

For many years, he sailed the internet as a web developer and designer. Now, he is working at the Boys and Girls Club, where the children in his care inspire his art daily. With the help of SCBWI and Storyteller Academy, he has learned to combine his passion for the visual arts, storytelling, and child development to create children’s books. Believing there is no limit to creativity and imagination, he is excited to see where art takes him next!
