Challenge: SBCWI’s monthly art challenge was to create a cover for one of your stories.

Solution: Created a 9 by 12 test cover.

Description: This was the first time I experimented with physical and digital media combined in the same project. Overall, I thought the image was able to achieve great textures and still give the advantages of digital art. The font was selected for its playfulness to contrast the darker tones of the art work. The “T” also remined me of a roof and was placed above everything else.
