Pumpkin King

Challenge: After may weeks of working on my dummy, it was time to create the final art.

Solution: To create a final image art for one of the dummies.

Description: The main character went through a few versions to dial in the age. The original story was too scary for kids, so I created a much more kid-friendly story with which the character evolved. To set the tone of the story, I use cooler darker tones that could make the reader feel like it’s night time, and added the orange pumpkins for contrast. Thanks to the help from my peers, I was able to also push the darker tones and bring out a better contrast.
